Since the space was long and thin like a bookmark, I thought I would make a maze that would look cool on a bookmark. And if you need one, just print this out on some cardstock or glue it to recycled cardboard. Instant cool bookmark. :)</p><p>Anyway, there is two ways to “start” and one way to “finish”. That’s rights, two in a row using the same coloring book <a href="https://simplymazes.blogspot.com/2017/07/maze-number-128-coloring-book-shark.html" target="_blank">as the last maze</a>. </p><p>This time I tried my hand on a cute butterfly. It seems fitting because it says on the page to “draw your own designs” on the wings.<br></p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9U2tWNw3XQk/WX_A8bOaCDI/AAAAAAAAMdI/Pu0TPAQCfcMIdwq0S7-ZsmgF_v9KR6KNwCHMYCw/s1600-h/DSCI9719%2B%2528477x640%2529%255B1%255D%255B5%255D"><img width="278" height="366" title="Drawing a butterfly maze with a coloring book page." style="border: 0px currentcolor; border-image: none; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Drawing a butterfly maze with a coloring book page." src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-p1M8J-KPK6U/WX_A9urWOPI/AAAAAAAAMdM/4UF9BloRLechfgr7IWqhWtEhTAZeudAoACHMYCw/DSCI9719%2B%2528477x640%2529%255B1%255D_thumb%255B4%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p align="center">Before...</p><p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-I-VCTBNmPzk/WX_BBIz9wMI/AAAAAAAAMdQ/XdLszIRkRrkHUfJ7FvgHoUx2uwbaPSAzgCHMYCw/s1600-h/maze%2Bnumber%2B129%2Bcoloring%2Bbook%2Bbutterfly%2B%2528570x640%2529%255B8%255D"><img width="434" height="487" title="Maze Number 129: Coloring Book Butterfly. I think it looks great. I wanted to have the “finish” in all parts of the body, but I thought that would get in the way. Better to have it just in the abdomen, the butterfly looks happier this way.</p><p>Anyway, there is two ways to “start” and one way to “finish”. This time I used a shark coloring page. </p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-RpoY56fmjYc/WXeG9zFFc7I/AAAAAAAAMTw/tIJ1vN7rV7AZSKAflOcNZDlOoIk4KJtzACHMYCw/s1600-h/DSCI9721%2B%2528463x640%2529%255B7%255D"><img width="230" height="310" title="Polaroid" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Polaroid" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-QB1yS0ryAEM/WXeG_m5ceRI/AAAAAAAAMT0/2fNzIOk9c3wJlmHiPEXfOtE6lMb-ueTqQCHMYCw/DSCI9721%2B%2528463x640%2529_thumb%255B4%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p align="center">So here’s before…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ENokbKT7J1Q/WXeHAjfB_qI/AAAAAAAAMT4/edtEby8GSmchtp8wjqNWhkjYcHPm2E4jQCHMYCw/s1600-h/maze%2Bnumber%2B128%2Bcoloring%2Bbook%2Bshark%2B%2528709x800%2529%255B8%255D"><img width="432" height="487" title="Maze Number 128: Coloring Book Shark. I wanted to use the teeth in the maze more, but I thought it would make it more difficult to solve the maze. Plus it’s nice to see a smile. </p><p>I can’t say if the maze shark looks more or less fierce than the original. It still looks pretty cool and that’s what matters.</p><p>Anyway, there is two ways to “start” and one way to “finish”. I had intended to post this maze weeks ago, but then there was <strong>the problem</strong>. </p><p>One of the programs I use for my mazes suddenly decided it did not like this particular one and corrupted the file, again, and again, ….and again. Hence the name. I finally found a work around and got this darn thing ready and up, but it still baffles me. It has never done anything like this before.</p><p>Anyway, there is just one way to “start” and one way to “finish”. I started this one by drawing three different hearts, one inside another and another. The largest is the whole maze and the smallest became the “finish”. The last one kind of got lost in the maze, but if you look closely you may be able to see it.</p> <p>Anyway, there is just one way to “start” and one way to “finish”. Enjoy!</p>Anna M.http://www.blogger.com/profile/01157501872026577120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8054319067227822481.post-78964532047088609952017-01-24T08:00:00.000-07:002017-01-24T08:00:18.120-07:00Maze Number 111: Beating Heart<p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-s0Y6aqVTtKc/WIapjGYYXgI/AAAAAAAAK_w/xX8b9G4vLew/s1600-h/maze-number-111-Beating-Heart-815x10%25255B1%25255D.jpg"><img title="Maze Number 111: Beating Heart. This one is a little different because of the shape. It reminded me of the shape of an actual human heart. Anatomy can be beautiful too, right?</p> <p>Anyway, there is just one way to “start” and one way to “finish”. As the path goes on it looks like it’s “sprouting” into some kind of plant, hence the name. It also explains why I bought some bean sprouts at the store the other day. Yes, food has been on my mind lately.</p> <p>Anyway, there’s just one way to “start” and one way to “finish”. I then made the paths wrap around, and around, etc. </p> <p>They kind of the remind me of ying and yang, so that’s why it’s called balance. May it help you find your balance in this new year.</p> <p>Anyway, there is just one way to “start” and one way to “finish”.
